Behavioral Consulting

I am available for home and school consultations. The consultations last between 1-3 hours and notes can be provided after the observation so teachers, parents and admin are on the same page for implementing future strategies. For home consultations, I come to you! Your child can stay in their safest and most comfortable natural environment with the caregivers that love them unconditionally. Children are less likely to adjust their behavior so work can be done more quickly when both of these pieces are are present. I also go into schools and observe both whole classrooms and individual children when behaviors are challenging. I observe from the back of the classroom quietly. If asked by the children who I am or what I am doing, I simply answer with, “I watch how children play and learn!”

Life Coaching

As children hit their teen years through adulthood, they may find themselves needing help and life coaching can be a huge help. This arm of my business helps teens and adults be at their best. That means, we look at self-care, self-esteem, employment, dreams (hopes and wishes) for their life and where they may get stuck. We start by diving into self-reflection, temperaments, and who they are and then move into steps, actions and strategies to propel them where they envision themselves to be.

Professional Speaking

Were you hoping to find a work-from-home option for professional development? Congratulations you found the perfect place to sit back, relax, eat a grilled cheese, have a drink (of your choice;) and learn! It is like attending a workshop, but from the comforts of your own home… Or if your home is loud and the comforts are missing, take your computer or iPad to the nearest beach and enjoy the learning AND the peace and quiet!

Looking for engaging (and funny) professional development workshop for educators, administration and/or parents? I talk about subjects related to challenging behavior, emotional wellness, rewards and punishments, relationships, play, developmentally appropriate practice, learning environments and many more. All of these workshops are strength based and have a more nontraditional approach. I use humor, tell stories, and magically make time fly by. If you are interested in having me lead a workshop at your school, office or home, please contact me! I would love to talk further!
